                Unang Undas Na Ika'y Kasama

Ako ay dahan-dahang naglalakad
Sa takot na may biglang kumaladkad
Napapalibutan ng mga bangkay
Na baka'y tatayo mula sa kanilang hukay

Ngunit nang ikaw ay nakita
Lahat ng takot ay nawala sinta
Umupo nang mayroong saya
At inilapag ng maayos ang aking mga dala.

Biglang sumagi sa isipan
Kung saan nagmula ang ating pagmamahalan
Sa loob ng apat na sulok na silid-aralan
Nagsimula ang ating pag-iibigan

Ikaw ay naiiba sa klase
Natatangi sa dalawampu't apat na lalaki
Dahil sa iyong ugaling kawili-wili
Ako'y nabihag pati na rin sa iyong mga ngiti

Katamtaman lamang ang iyong taglay na kisig
Ngunit ang iyong mga tawa'y pawang musika saking pandinig
Ang iyong mga gusto'y ginawa ko ng hilig
Mapansin mo lamang ang aking pag-ibig

Minu-minuto'y umaagaw ng tingin sa'yo
Natataranta sa tuwing ako'y nahuhuli mo
Nabasa mo kaya ang ibig sabihin ng mga titig ko?
Ako'y natatakot na lulubayan mo

Sapagkat dumating ang isang araw
Saya sa puso ko ay umaapaw
Ang mga dahon na sumasayaw
Ay nakisabay sa ligayang naramdaman sa mundong ibabaw

Ang aking mga pag-aalala
Ay nawala na sa isip sinta
Sapagkat ikaw na ay kasa-kasama
Kasamang nangako ng panghabambuhay na saya

Ang panahon ay naging sang-ayon sa atin
Ngunit umabot sa punto na ang nasimula'y kailangan ng putulin
Kung pwede lang sana ibalik at ulitin
Sulitin ang mga natitirang sandali sa atin

Isang taon na rin ang lumipas
Hindi pa rin ako nagsasawang dalhan ka ng rosas
Unti-unti ng bumabalik ang aking lakas
Sapagkat iang sandali'y makakasama kana ulit sa wakas

Sinindihan ko na ang dala-dalang kandila
Tiningnan ang mga kasama na may saya
Sa ibabaw ng puntod mo'y inayos ang mga rosas na dala
Sa pagsambit ng "paalam at salamat" ay ang pagpikit ng aking dalawang mata
